After what feels like forever, Davey in his new wheels is able to have a much deserved bit of freedom. The past 2 weekends, friends and family have booked special taxis and travelled to the local pub near the hospital for a delicious roast dinner and a beer or two!
Davey enjoyed ordering himself a 3 course meal along with a nice cold brew! The girls also enjoyed feeding him. The sun was shining and he was able to have a rest in the garden before heading back to the hotel.
It gave incredible normality to Davey along with Louise and the girls. We hope this is the first of many more trips to come!
